Jason Wilford playing the guitar

Meet Jason Wilford

Hi, I’m Jason Wilford, and I’ve been teaching guitar to a wonderful roster of students right here in Mississauga for over 15 years. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a more advanced guitarist, getting you noticeable results is my number one priority. That might mean learning to strum a few simple songs around a campfire, jamming with your friends, building your songwriting skills, or getting up on stage with a band (just to name a few). Not everyone has the same goals, and I always teach with that in mind.

Simply put, I want you to have fun while you’re learning so that it doesn’t feel like a chore. In the time that I have been playing guitar (27 years), there are many things that I’ve picked up along the way that can save you the time and effort of having to figure them out for yourself.

My experience of playing and writing songs in a band, recording in professional studios, releasing music professionally, going on tours, playing music festivals, attending school for music and so much more only adds to the many years of teaching experience I bring with me to the classes here. With this in mind, you can rest assured knowing you’re in good hands when it comes to learning this amazing instrument.

But enough about me - the most important thing when it comes to being able to provide the best instruction possible is knowing what you want to accomplish, and finding a way to get you there.  Get in touch with me using the link below, and I'd love to find out more about you and what you're looking to do.

Motivation and inspiration

So that you want to practice and improve your guitar playing as often as possible. It’s a lot easier to become motivated to practice the guitar if you are accountable to someone else, and given opportunities to play with others.

Massive Results

Trying to learn by yourself can be painful. It’s hard to know what areas of your playing to focus on without help from someone who’s been there before. A great teacher can get you pointed in the proper direction right from the start – especially if they have a good roster of students who can do what you want to do.
